Need help before placing my order

Hi
Just came back from the dealership and was pricing out before I order a 2012 unlimited rubicon.....I'm getting every option but the smokers and engine block heater..... The price they gave me before taxes and with the tread lightly is 37,995. Is that a good price to go with?
Thanks

FYI - I'm getting ready to place an order for a 2012 Rubicon and emailed a handful of dealers for the TL FFP pricing and have gotten prices as low as 2-3% under the invoice price calculated from the above link. I'm hoping they intend to honor it when I call and get ready to go in and place an order (I keep hearing a few people in my area are getting the bait-switch deal). Good luck!

I was so ready to order today but I really wanted to see what people say on here and call a few other dealers in the area....I'm in PA I wonder if I can order one in Delaware and not have to pay the sales tax if you can even do that.

You'll probably have to pay the sales tax at the time of registration in your state.

I just bought a 2012 Rubicon after finding a dealer who sells all vehicles at invoice price. I was treated great by a salesman who was a Rubicon owner as was his boss the sales manager. They treated me as a trusted friend. I ordered and they refused to take a downpayment. I didn't have to sign anything either...a handshake was all that was requried. They sell a lot of jeeps in central West Virginia.

That sounds great but I'm still skeptical. If there was no $ and no paperwork then I don't see how you bought anything. Probably because I'm used to NJ dealer tactics. The only thing I wouldn't be comfortable with is zero documentation. Technically the dealer can sell it out from under you. Hopefully that doesn't happen and all will be well. Again, I wish I could do business off of a handshake in my area but there have been too many horror stories of vehicles getting sold to the highest bidder when they come in and the original "purchaser" told that they couldn't get it but they could have "this" one for x number of dollars more. After waiting and being disapointed, some fall for that. Again, I hope you have a great experience. In my area under the same circumstances you usually don't. Good luck.

So I called another dealership and got about 300 dollars knocked off the price
From the first dealership and those mopar all weather mats throw in for free, I emailed the first dealer and said if they can do alittle better then that I will be over monday to place my order......is it even worth the engine block heater as a option?

Engine block heaters are still pretty common option here in Minnesota but I do not know anyone that actually uses one. If your Jeep is going to sit outside in sub freezing temps regularily and you have a convienient outlet near by then maybe.

I got it on mine as it is very cheap and easy from the factory. I keep my jeep in a heated shop but if you ever park outside in sub zero temps it would be very handy. The next owner may love me for it. I got the smokers package also just for fun!

I think I got eveything worked out on the phone yesterday with a dealership about an hour away (I'd rather stay in town, but the difference was almost $1K). Bait-Switch: With a few dealerships, including the one that gave me the lowest price (vehicle and OTD), they kept putting disclaimers on everything and when I called them on it thye said they assumed that I qualified for "multiple" incentives even though I had said I only had a control number using the Tread Lightly membership. I think it wise to email 4-5 dealerships and get the vehicle price with options (including TL discount), taxes, title/tag, and document fee to see what the "market" says your OTD is. Good luck. I'm putting down $500 tomorrow by phone to order my 2012 Rubicon...

That's where I bought my 2011 JK. Great dealership. They are all Jeepers just like us.
