Need help fast, lockers,gears,shafts

Ok so I have a 2012 rubi and I'm waiting for my 37s to get here. I already got gussets. But here's the thing I hear that 37s break rubi lockers after a few times of wheeling, I was gonna get new chromoly shafts front and rear then gears but now I read that I'll need new lockers. So the point is " What Do I Do" do I build up the 44s with over like 5 grand in them or do the Dana 60s and just sell my 44s. This jeep is not my daily driver and made for rocks and beach sometimes mud. Please help. Any opinions are welcomed.

A lot of this depends on how you wheel and how you intend on wheeling. I know guys who break 60's and guys who don't break 44's.

If it was me, I would sell your axles and go with 60's. ARB is hands down stronger and better all the way around.

I don't think I'll wheel it hard just a few Moab trips and all the parks in texas idk if that's hard wheeling. I just don't want to spend all that money on upgrading my 44s when I should of just went to 60s

Damnit how are those shafts serving you pretty good. I wanted to get the ten chromos front and rear for the 37s but ran across a thread saying your rubi lockers will give out before the shafts so then what's the point.

I know for a fact that the stock shafts will go b4 the lockers will. (iv seen it happen 4 times) if and when the lockers go Ill just up grade.
I dont plan on keeping these axels under this jeep forever. So Ill just put detroits in if I have to.

A lot has to do with how the operator does with the skinny pedal!!
And what ever you do, the weakest link is still just that. The EFI system in the JK is such that one can throw your Jeep into low range, take your foot comptelely off the gas, and it will crawl through about anything, except mud where you need wheel speed. And that is where I think the beauty of your Rubi is, is the 4:1 Transfer Case and the 73:1 crawl ratio. I am sure others will chime in with different opinions, but that is OK.
No chain is any stronger than its weakest link. Anjd no matter how strong you build it, there is always a weak link somewhere, so just go out and have fun and when something breaks; just replace it with stronger components then! Good luck, and have fun
