Need Help....Tires/Rim

Hey all,

Sorry 4 the Noob Post.........But
The Jeep im going to Order is a JKUR. I will not have a lift to start will run Stock for a bit.

LF some help on the Pairing of.....
Nitto Trail Grapplers M/T 33x12.5R15C2 on... MB Wheels TKO 15x8

Can these work on the JKUR ?
Would there be Rubbing? on highway/city Driving? Could i go mudding with no rubbing?
Can those tires work on 15x8 Rim?
If and what BS would I need?
and for the Spare would i need a new harness on the back?

Any and All help on this would be awesome thx

That tire/wheel combo will work. On-road you'll be fine, but off-road your tires will chew on your fenders till you get a lift. Even a $130 TF leveling kit will fix that and allow you full clearance.

Otherwise, you better take it really easy wheeling, or you could trash your fenders.

You'll be fine on BS, too...not sure what the MB TKO's are in that size, but they're far under the 4.5" that's the benchmark for aftermarket tires. In fact, they're probably 3"+, which means your tires will stick out from the Jeep, probably past your fenders. You should check and see how strict the laws are in your area about that...some states are d**** about it.

Shouldn't need a new spare tire carrier, but you will need some Daystar Bump Stops to replace the stock bump stops on your tailgate.

Yes, a 33x12.5x15 will work fine on the 15x8 wheel. Many folks here run the 33x12.5 Duratrac with those exact wheels. The 15x8 version of the TKOs has a -19 offset, which equates to a backspacing of 3.75".

This setup should be fine on road and may experience some mild rubbing of the fenders during articulation offroad.

For the spare, you will be fine. You will however want to pick up a set of Daystar extended bumpstops.

On edit: Well, looks like wolfie beat me to it. lol

Thx Guys

As always KB & 4Fit.......Great Info and quick response.

think this will be the way i go......Now i'am Thinking i should get a lvling kit or just get the 3" Zone lift. Damn i can already see the money leaving my pocket before i even have built my Jeep.

Dose DTD do Pkg deals of rims/tires mounted and balanced??? ( 4 cheaper $$)
then buying them separate?

Hopefully they do Im buying 5 of each hope theres a kick back...
and do they have Military discounts...................guess the best thing is just phone them

PM them here on the forum...pretty sure it's just Discount Tire. I know they'll beat any price, and that they're prices are usually mounted, balanced, and shipped to your door. Not sure about military discounts.

Only thing...I THINK they sell Nittos, and not Toyos. Could be the other way around, though.

Still, check w/them...they pretty much rock for WF peeps.

Send DTD a PM over the forum. That's the best way to do it. You don't need 3" worth of lift for 33s, but it won't look bad either. Look at 2.5" kits too.

They give a $50 forum discount to members who purchase 5 tires. And it does seem that they give military discounts though I am not 100% on that.
