Unhappy need help with my 2014 unlimited sport

im thinking about getting bigger and wider tires with after market rims not for sure what rims yet cant decide on right rim, but im a noob when it comes to tires and rim im wondering whats the biggest widest tire would fit a after market 16x8 rim. I want know rubbing when im off roading im a weekend warrior so im more on road then off but i was thinking about a 32x11 tire what would my back spacing neeed to be if any on the rim for no rubbing?

The most typical suggestion I have seen is 4.5" of backspacing or less for a tire wider than stock.

Do a search on tire size. There are a number of good threads that talk about maximum tire size per wheel, Jeep, etc. Plenty of info here if you look.

Man I have been real real tempted to get a set of humvee take off rims and tires and then buy a set of hub adapters. You could end up with 5, 37x12.5s for less than 1000.00 that way.
