Question Need Your Opinion

Just ordered Buschwacker Pocket Style Flared Fenders for my 2010 Wrangler and am planning on having them painted. My Jeep is Rescue Green. Should I paint them Rescue Green or high gloss black? Everything on my Jeep is either Rescue Green or black. I even had the Jeep emblem on the front painted high gloss black. What do you think? Thanks

Well, they come from the factory black, right? So hold one up when you get them and see how it looks, compared to the rescue green wheel well on the same side when the factory flare is removed. Oh, have fun installing them .... We just put Bushwacker flat flares on ours Sunday..... It wasn't really that bad, but pulling off the factories was a pain in the a... butt! A plastic pry tool will come in very handy. Pick one up, NOW!

WHat no pics of new fender flares??? this could help OP get an idea of how they look seeing as how there are other pics to compare to-----

I would cancel the order and get the flatties! If I were choosing between color matched or black...BLACK.

If you get the Bushwacker "pocket" flares-you have to make modifications to use your stock fender liners --

So if I was going to paint-there's a lotta work that has to be done FIRST-then installingt them is not a cakewalk !!

Be careful if you do any painting !!

There's a JKU that I see regularly that is all yellow...body, hard top, and pocket style flares. Looks good too, everything else is blacked out. The painted flares make the bushwackers seem less "bulky"?? They'll look good either way...

I agree.

Im not a big fan of color-matched fenders... save that for the luxury cars, they look strange on a rugged Wrangler


PS I have a Rescue Green as well, sooo... post some pictures!
