I've owned several vehicles and always swore by Nissan. I had a Pathfinder and an Xterra but NOTHING COMPARES to my 2010 JKU! Way too much fun to drive. I told the Jeep dealer after my first oil change, "If I hit the lottery, I'm coming back here and buying 6 more Wranglers! I don't even care about the gas mileage." I actually still have my Xterra, great ride, but she's awfully lonely right now....

I haven't complained...
I don't take leaks in my jeep...that's what the great outdoors is for,
Stealer-ships--nope, bought mine from an individual,
this--uh uhh,
that--sorry, no go;

As far as good things and being positive...every time I drive it I have a blast and every mod I make lets me enjoy her that much more.

TA-DAAAAA!

Guess I never noticed the negativity. I started looking at this forum when I was thinking about purchasing a Jeep and wanted to see the kinds of issues others were having before I pulled the trigger. I was surprised by how little information I was able to find. If you want to see some negativity, look on an F150 forum. 90% of the posts are related to something breaking or malfunctioning. There's a big difference between working on your ride because you want to or working on it because you have to.

give it time, you and your Jeep are kinda like a newly married couple, all touchly feely, kisses and hugs can't keep your hand off each other and endless sex. Then after a couple of years it's a peck on the cheek to say hi and bye sex comes around like Christmas once a year.

Just kiding----- a day doesn't go by that I don't love my Jeep. Ya she has her flaws but that's what makes her what she is a Jeep. She has never let me down, always gets me out of trouble and the other fathers looks on with envy as they climb into thier minivans. I LOVE JEEP and I don't care who knows it.

I even come up with lame excuses to tell my wife so I can leave the house and spend more time with her.

"honey I need to drive to the other end of the block to see if it snowed there too!"

sorry all

can't comply, i have a very serious problem, my daughters take it whenever i'm not looking, leaving me with their vehicles. must be something about having the roof down and that open air feeling. the last week of aug, my jeep was missing for two weeks, it apparently went to the shore and took my two daughters. when it returned, i jumped in and found nothing but sand and an empty gas tank. by the way, its an 08 sahara jku, and i have had 0 problems, not even an oil leak!

Why complain?

No complaints here! Got me home in a wicked snowstorm this morning without so much as a spun tire! Then when I got on to my back road, pulled my neighbour IN HIS LIFTED FORD out of the ditch. then proceeded to tramp his driveway down so his wife could get out with her ford escape! Now dont get me wrong im by no means a ford hater. My family drives nothing but fords.... I broke the tradition. I also own a f150 myself. My JKU is just amazing in the snow. Every Canadian should have one!

This is an interesting thread. I suspect that a lot of the whiners are first time Jeep owners and their expectations aren't realistic. I have had a Jeep in one form or another in my driveway for the last 25 years. If I want a smooth ride with no wind noise, I drive my wife's T&C van. I like the fact that the '10 JKU Safari still has a metal showing on the doors and lacks a certain sophistication usually found on "regular" cars. The only time I wave to another Jeep driver is when he (or she) is smart enough to know that up hill has the right of way and pulls over to let me pass.

Lmao. Good one! If I get married someday, I'll have an excuse.

Just bought my first Jeep. A 2011 Rubicon. I have never enjoyed a purchase of any kind as much as I have enjoyed this Jeep. I've only had it a week and I can't drive it enough.

I love driving my jeep, in fact, i do more "hey hun will you run to the store to get me some sugar" trips now days, than i have in the past 5 years. Our closest general store is Dollar General 5 miles away, or wally world, over 10 miles away. Living out in the sticks has its advantages
