New 2010 2-DOOR Rubicon

Hello,
I am new to this site and find it to be a great place for information.

I just bought a New 2010 2-Door Rubicon, after about 150 miles on it noticed a leak that looked like transmission fluid on my driveway. Looked underneath and found fluid all over the bottom on the gas tank cover, rear diff, exhaust muffler, then the rear door and window.
Took it to the dealer and they said it was a bad seal in the transfer case and didn’t have one in stock and go ahead and drive it until they get the new seal.Uhhh No!

Long story short after a few phone calls they had me come in and they said they replaced the seal. after I got home I looked and there was still fluid underneath but didn’t seem like much so I thought they just didn’t clean it up so I took it down and sprayed of the underneath really good to see if it was still leaking.
The next day I looked again and it is still leaking, try’d to locate were it was leaking from but couldn’t see where it was coming from. So now it back at the dealer.Has this leak happened to anybody else with a 2010? Anybody have any ideas were this could be coming from.
Thank you for your Help.

not yet a 1002 miles in 4 wks no
leaks but i think the bigR has a different tcase
good luck ,in the past ive found that small issues tend to be aggarvated
by dealers who just want to get you in and out .when you return tell them you expect the repair to include a clean up that leaves your jeep in new condition again and settle for nothing less

Hey amigo. Congrats on a great purchase! Sounds like a bit of bad luck. The dealership is fully responsible for that.
I have no idea what TN was trying to say there, but there really aren't that many miles on the '10's yet to say. However, the auto trans that's been in the JK has been around for a LONG time, and in my time at Chrysler I saw no more transmission issues with it than any other, if not fewer- Mark W.

Sorry to hear of the bad luck. Hopefully the dealer will get you all squared away.

Thanks for the feed back,
Picked up my Jeep yesterday and will have to drive it a little to see if they fixed it this time.
The service rep is kind of a douche bag so i don't think i will be going back to them anymore.
Anybody know of a good reputable Jeep dealer service department in phoenix area?

Thanks again

you shouldn't be leaking anything. i dont care if it's a 75 CJ your driving. leaks are unacceptable, new or old.

i find it helpful if you go in there "pissed off" that a brand new jeep is leaking. they'll try to fix the problem and you might get some free oil changes as a "peace offering"
