I gotta admit I like the new interior. But i'm afraid it's "too much" as well. I thought the same thing about my 2007, way too much going on to let it sit out. I'm cautious to even leave the top off overnight because of the unexpected rain. Like someone said earlier, one thing goes everything is affected. Kinda sucks, wish they would've updated but kept a more simplistic interior and the 4.0L.

I mean, its not something I'd ever want or I'd ever want to pay for Jeep thats going to get scratched and dirty on the trail. But Jeep is just keeping themselves alive which is a good thing. Yes we would love a more simpler beast but the mass public has to have everything in the world in their car because driving is now a hassle so you have to have shit to do while driving lol.

All im sayin is more stuff to get ruined. I wouldnt even take it off road for the money spent and the potential danger in the elec's. For you that get the matching top, dont scratch it!

Its sad knowing a good 75% of those Jeeps will never have their tops removed or doors off. They will be good used vehicle pickings in 10-20 years

They will look pretty good after you put a few scratches on them and mud them up a bit.

I personally like the upgrades. People saying they don't like the "interior design looks of it" and then calling other people Yuppie's in the same breath, need a reality check. (not to mention most of them have never even seen the 2011 except a handful of angle whore webshots.. Complaining about chrome eh? too bad it's actually polished aluminum..............amazing what photoshop does sometimes.....)

since this was brought back from the dead, i'll explain my feelings.

part of why i bought my jeep was for its simplicity of design (well, as simple as a vehicle can be in 2010) and its no frills looks, in and out. while the appearance of the new interior is nice, it doesn't fit my personal opinion of what a utilitarian vehicle should be. my PERSONAL OPINION. i like the current interior. wipe it off with a soft cloth and it's good. the new bright work will show fingerprints and dirt and i really don't want to obsess over keeping it spotless. to me, you see the current interior a little dirty and it just kind of fits. now you'll see the new interior dirty and it looks like you just don't take care of your vehicle. i'm in a "simplify" period in my life, admittedly.
if you like it, great. i'm not going to call anyone names over it, that is pretty childish. if you don't agree with me, no problem, these are just my opinions. there's enough stupid name calling and model prejudice here already without JK owners going after each other.

Poor silvrevo.

I just left the local dealership. They STILL don't have one. They are having some big "Jeep Event" there on Thursday. Told me to come back, that HOPEFULLY they would have one in by then. However, the salesman kept telling me how good I looked in my Jeep and that I should come because "he" would be there and wanted my name and number.... Pompous Jerk.

My 17 y/o son was with me and said, "why wouldn't he just shut up?" I dunno, baby, I dunno...

I was in for a free oilk change today and looked around,, didnt see any 2011's.

But they did have the new GC with air suspension set to high,, looked cool.

Also they had a 2010 HHP SuperBird Challenger with a 2.3 whipple blower and big big big big wing out back. Looked nice,,,, msrp $99,985.00

My plann is to get out of my lease when the 3.6 Pentastar lands,,, then buy it.

Im sure they can buy out a year or so of my lease. They pretty much paid me to take thier 2010 wrangler off the lot.

But , we will see.

Personal taste and jealousy are 2 different things. Trolling is an ugly trait as well.

It seems to me that in the year XXXX, a large percentage of the community always complains about the upgrades made to model year XXXX+1. Next year everyone will be complaining that the (fill_in_minor_cosmetic_difference_here) has ruined the Wrangler line forever, and because of (previously_stated_cosmetic_change), Wranglers will from now on be solely the transport of soccer moms and will never ever get dirty again.

Maybe I do. The dealer certainly liked what he saw

IBTMFL!

I like the idea of a two tone leather interior...
ALMOST enough to want one because of it.

Almost, but not enough to buy one. I am getting too close to having mine paid off.
Well in 13 payments that is.
Dayumn! Will this NEVER end???

I didn't realize that something HAS to be ugly in order to be functional.
