Considering the fact that we're looking at a loaded model with literally all the options I'm not surprised. I do prefer my 2010 as it has what I consider to be a more utilitarian interior (and lower price), but this does look nice.

It's got some neat stuff I'd like to have though. Built in inverter, power outlet in the truck area ... but the rest I'll pass on.

Honestly, it reminds me of the TJ interior.

Im sorry..... its nice, its is, but 40K!!!! Sorry no way I pay 40K for a Jeep. And the leather is nice but what if your top is off and it rains? Are you really gonna off roading with your doors off in that thing? Its a HUMMER thats what it is.

Well as we all know there are to kinds of people that drive jeeps, this one is for the other kind. I'm waiting to see what the other ones look like that are not loaded up. There was some talk about a 70th year special edition one that would have a more basic off road look and feel to it, I have no heard anything else about it though.

And that is fine, if thats what people will pay for. But 40K, I can buy something a lot nicer for 40K. What makes no sense to me is that its the Rubicon version with leather. This is pretty much a "im gonna take this thing places no other place can go". so why the leather? So I cannot take my top and doors off? I wouldnt with heated leather seats that I gurantee.

The only change I've got a question about is--that auto shift lever has a number of detents, is ONE ofem, to hold it in 3rd gear ??

It looks like it should be the interior to another jeep like a Liberty or a Commander or something.

Hey Chef - curious - will that handy dandy holder for the door hinges and roof screw fit in the 2010 storage??? I could see a few of those being sold for sure - especially since that can easily be picked up and the water dumped out - before your Jeep smells like a NFL players jock after a heavy rain and some nice baking in the sun for a day or 4...

Thanks for the video. I like the silver trim but 40k for a wrangler is just silly. And why the white roof still?

Any clue if mango tango is carrying over to 2011?

i really like the idea of the screw holders in the rear... i took my door hing bolts off and they stay in the garage tool box but the roof screws for the freedom top would be nice. mine just sit in the rear cup holders while its off.

nice preview of the jeep thanks for the video.

as for the interior, leather doesnt appeal to me but the dash doesnt look that horrible... and thats about all that changed... so im sure it will still sell. all the extra fancy doodads are icing on the cake i guess for some people. personally i thought having power windows was a HUGE deal and that was good enough for me

Looks great, thanks for posting. Not sure about the tan...wish it was a couple shades darker. Would be great if you could post a Sahara video with matching color top when you get one in.

It looks nice but it going away from the simple design of previous Wranglers before it. As other people have said before, getting the inside wet would just be a bad idea and having the doors off and taking that wheeling and also mudding is not out of the question but I highly doubt anybody would really want to do that with this model.

$39k way too much, IMHO, but glad that Jeep is expanding audience (by optioning "fancy" items) so they will increase sales, allowing them to put more development into future models.

That said, I would really like Jeep to offer options such as a dual top AND door package (half doors) at a reasonable price. Leather/chrome, etc all sells high trim, but some of us want increased functionality options.

Overall, love the new interior, at least so far without touching it.

I'm waiting for 2012, 4-door Sport base with diesel and 6-speed, dual doors/tops.

Thanks for posting..... I would buy it..... Leather, if taken care of properly will hold up better than just about anything else.... I would like to see it in maybe a saddle leather like the King Ranch Ford does...

This is Mopar's website: Jeep Wrangler Parts - The Official Jeep Parts eStore offered by Chrysler

notice the year is 2011, now click on the scroll box next to it, scroll down and there is an option for the "70th annaversary"

Mopar is almost as official as Jeep.com...

Color choices should be
cosmos blue
deep cherry red crystal pearl
detonator yellow
flame red
mango tango pearl
natural green pearl
sahara tan
black
bright silver metallic

Not sure when I will get one with the matching hard top but will post when I do.
