New 2014 JK Sport

What's up everyone, thought I would join the forums since it seems to a great resource. Just picked up my new 2014 Wrangler Sport last Friday and loving it so far. Came from a Lexus IS-F which was an entirely different beast but needed to downsize a bit and get something I can drive every day and in all weather conditions. Always wanted a Wrangler and pretty sure I made the right decision thus far! Had a blast with the little snow storm we had Thursday night. This is my first Jeep and also my very first brand new vehicle!

Pretty much loaded and has every option but the nav. Will eventually be upgrading wheels/tires but for now in the interest of saving money and getting used to it she's gonna stay stock. I must say that I'm not sure why the stock tires get such poor reviews because I thought they did fantastic in the snow yesterday.

Welcome and congratulations that your Wrangler found you! Owners find cars - Wranglers find their Owners so it is written!

I swapped my tires/wheels for new take-offs from a Rubicon, not for function so much as looks. I think the Goodyears would have been great driving tires.

I LOVE the Rubicon rims, I thought about doing the same thing but not sure if it's worth the $1000 most people are charging for those rims and tires around here. I think they would look great on my Amp'd though, definitely needs darker rims.

Welcome. I was in a similar situation when I decided to get rid of my '10 camaro. It's already paid dividends given the storm here a couple days ago. I can't wait for the summer either with my JK sport.

Congratulations on new jeep, new to this forum. All our jeeps looked that way when we bring them home and then the mods start and just when you think you are done something else always comes up. My wife said you bought a new jeep and then replaced 1/2 of the new parts with different new parts.
My stock jeep with just the rock rails added and my jeep now. Almost hard to tell it's the same jeep.
