Hello all, i just installed some 33x12.5x18r general grabber x3 on my jku. It is my DD, and i was wondering what do yall think a good tire psi would be for them. It came balanced and aired, they are aired to 42 psi atm.

42psi is prob too high. I have a set of 295/70/18 on her 15 JKUR and I am running 36psi. I need to chalk them to see if it's too high. Cover the tread face with chalk and drive on a level surface and see how much of the chalk wears off. more chalk wears off the center you are too high and if more wears off the edges you are too low.

I just got some 285/70r17 Nitto ridge grapplers (33s) yesterday that were aired to 39.5 psi. Seat of the pants, felt good. I dropped the psi to 35, as I have read that as people go bigger, they generally lower their psi. If it doesn't rain, I'll take a drive and check it out.

Been driving around at 35 psi and it works for me. A few items to note: I am running a 2.5" Teraflex lift with Rancho 9000 shocks. I have stock bumpers with a winch in front and just switched to my soft top.
