The tires seem to grab the road better during braking. IMO it stops quicker than with stock rubicon tires. Less nose dive as well.

Just got mine installed today. Only got to drive it a few miles to get home but first impression is it rides great. My steering wheel is a little off, I will adjust that tomorrow. It was a long HOT day and I am exhausted...

FINALLY got mine installed as well, though had some trouble (you can find my thread on here if you're curious). Just wanted to keep this thread going as it's been incredibly helpful- you guys convinced me to do the install solo and it was the right decision. Here are some pics:

After (with 315/70R17s on Argent Pintlers):

Still have the control arm brackets in the garage, should get those next weekend.

I think I'm going with the AEV lift. If I do, should I put in the geometry brackets and replace the bolts from this thread: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/the...ts-128154.html ?

Should I do anything else while I'm under there?

i did both during my install...the brackets will correct caster and the bolts are a good bet as well. my stock bolts already starting wearing down the bushings with the threads...the new shoulder bolts will eliminate this issue and yield greater longevity of the factory bushings. easy to do during the install since u already need to loosen and retorque them all

Has anyone developed any problems after the install?? I have a rubber squeaking noise when I step on the gas or turn to the right sharply. I think I have located the problem the upper control arm bushing on the drivers side. Can someone take a picture of yours and post it here, this would help me as mine doesn't look right. I will try to post a photo when I get out of work.

My friend and I weren't able to get all the bolts to work. Some of them wouldn't fit. I figured id go through the forum threads again and find out why before trying again.

Per EAD offroad there is a note attached with the bolt replacement kit here it is:

Note: The front Track Bar on 2012 and up Jeep JKs utilize a sealed spherical bearing joint at the frame side attachment point of the track bar. This bearing has a smaller ID than the 9/16" replacement bolts provided in the kit. Thus the OEM bolt must be retained in this location.

Project for another day. I plan on ordering the correction brackets anyway so I'll tackle those together.

I know I bought the right bolts so that's not the issue...

One of my friends printed the list of bolts from the thread on here and took it to a steel manufacturer. They put together the needed parts.

It's possible. Hard to say without being able to check the bolts at the moment.

They could be wrong but I dont think so..

The bolts were perfect for the lower control arms but the Traction bar ... the bolts would go through the mount but the shoulder (thread less area) wouldn't go through his TB. The shoulder was too thick for that part. I forget why they woulndt fit the upper control arms.

I used the info off of the Synergy kit info.
(8) 9/16-18 UNF x 4.0" long F911 bolts (LCAs)
(4) 9/16-18 UNF x 3.0" long F911 bolts (TBs)
(12) 9/16-18 UNF G9 Stover top lock nuts
(24) 9/16" Extra Thick G9 hardened flat washers

the trackbar uses a 14mm bolt....the bushing is actually tapered...the threads are what won't go through the bushing, not the shoulder part. it slips all the way in and appears to stop at the ahoulder, but the threads on the other side are what actually stop it. try to flip the bolt around inserting from the rear side to the front you will see that the bolt doesn't go in at all...the threads don't fit on the backside. my mount accepted the 9/16 bolt as well, just not the tapered bushing. you can use a 9/16 drill to take out the material on the tapered end to use the bolt or get a new 14mm bolt. the uppers used the 9/16 bolts no problem on mine....maybe they gave u the wrong size...idk?

Yes I did. When I did the lift the following week I added the Teraflex exhaust spacer kit to be safe. After installing the kit I developed a squeak in the front end and I thought it was the lift causing the noise. But after several hours I located the problem a loose bolt on the spacer kit that squeaked when I stepped on the gas to accelerate.

So after tightening them again no problems. But I have noticed after a week they have loosened up again so I tightened them again. It wasn't real bad but they definately were loose compared to when I tightened them a week ago. Not sure if this is common???

Hey guys- my JKU still has a noticeable rake that is bugging the crap outta me. Anyone else have this issue? I haven't installed the CA brackets yet so I'm not sure if that will help at all.

What are your thoughts on leveling out the front end?

Do you have an aftermarket bumper or added weight? I thought the AEV kit was supposed to counter that.

No to both. Rig is a sport and was bone stock to begin with. Rake more noticeable now than before (at least to me).

i notice in the pics u do not have a spare on...this will do it. the spare u are running is around 90lbs at minimum and is alot of leverage when it hangs off the rear. it will lower the rear slightly. mine seems higher up front now after putting my AEV carrier on and hanging the full size spare.
