New AEV wheels and MTR's

Finally put that tax return to some good use. Upgraded to AEV wheels and put some 285/70/r17 GY MTR's on them. Next is a 2.5" lift before the June Jamborees.

LOOKS AWESOME!!! I love the " look " - I am wanting to go with the 2/5" lift first then wheels. / very nice. I wish the tires came reversable, I cannot go with raised letters.. When I got my 2011, the dealer switched them for me..
ps. any rubbing, and are these wheels available in black??

Just got the same rims this past month. I went with the dark argent too. Goes really well with the tone of my natural green pearl coat. I went with 285 70 17 bfgoodrich ta ko tires though. Make sure you get a thin walled socket/ 4 way lug wrench. I found mine at walmart and it folds up too. I have no rubbing, but I switched my springs to tow package springs 19 front 60 rear with bilstien hd shocks. Lifted me 2 inches front, 1.5 inches rear.

This weekend I put a Teraflex 2.5in. suspension lift on the truck. I kept the stock shocks and just used the adapters.

There was very very minor rub at full turn before the lift and now everything is good.

Looks Awesome with the Lift.. do you need to change the springs? if you already have rubicon springs ? how does it ride with the TF springs- are they stiffer

Hey Jay, quick question. Did you put the wheels on without wheel spacers? Also, do you (or others) think that 35" tires could go on with a 3" lift?

I think the wheeels are awesome. Tires match nicely, and finally the lift is fn awesome. ..and you did it yourself? Well done.

I dont mind the yellow in the wheels. They still look awesome imo.

would the AEV wheels fit your stock tires or did you have to buy new tires to fit the AEV rims?

The AEV's will fit the stock tires if you have either the Sport S package or Rubicon. They are a 17" rim.

The wheel-colored center caps from the Savegre wheels fit the Pintlers and vice versa. They are only like $7 each too. I am set on the Savegre wheels but for some reason am down with the yellow caps.

35's will fit with a 2.5 in lift with no problems at all. Pic of mine.
