new bumper no lights

i bought a arc mod bumper and now i have to do something with the fog lights… i could rig it up to fit in the holes underneath somehow but want to do it the right way. I'm looking for different ways to mount lights. So my first question is, HID or LED pods? … i wanted to do something on the bumper rather than the windshield. LED Light Bars and Mount Combos | Off Road Products @ JeepAddOns.com (there is this at the bottom of the page) Poison Spyder Hawse Fairlead Light Mount where i can mount lights too.
so my real question is what do you prefer? and how and where did you place your lights

First off, nice gecko (the greatest color made). The one thing I made sure my bumper had was cut outs for fog lights so I dont have that issue. It all comes down to what you prefer. Go with your gut, if that doesn't work, sell that set up and try again. It is your jeep and your opinion is the only one that matters. P.S. post pics of your bumper, I'd love to see the bumper!

JCR front bumper, rear bumper, and classic side rails. Smittybilt xrc10 comp winch, Mopar 3" lift, teraflex front Trac bar, rear Trac bar, and quick disconnects. 17" black rhino wheels with 315 nitto trail grapplers. Truck-lites, led tail lights and an assortment of other money sucking parts.

so whats your take on this? eventually I'm gonna put lights on both the windshield and bumper but for now which do you think will be more useful for road driving? Im not gonna go with the LED for now because its a little out of budget for what i want

I'm really starting to like the fairlead light bars. I never was a fan of any light bar but they're growing on me. I have light mounting tabs on my bumper above my winch and I think I'm going to add a 10"-12" bar there.

4 pod. Got it at JeepBeach in Florida at the Quadratec tent for $120 bucks. 6pod is way too expensive at over $350.
I just added an extra $100 bucks and just installed a Cree 52" light bar and mount. This thing is just crazy bright.

$279 for the (new) Cree 52" light bar on eBay.
$110 for the pillar mounts also on eBay.
$389 total. How could I not buy it.
The damn things like a stadium light.

You can find the pods and bars pretty cheap if you shop around. Most bars will come with the L brackets for mounting.

Here's an option for mounting both a 10" bar or some pods on a hawse fairlead:

KD Fabworks Hawse Light Bracket
