Hey guys im new to jeep forum
I just bought a chrysler rental with 5000km

Pretty clean looking truck
But my turn signal i notice has resitance when i try to signal right

Like unless i "chop" it upward i notice it has resistance if i push it slowly.
Which i do when im blindspot checking to change lanes

Not sure if this is normal for u guys or mabye been caused due to misuse

Also my dash has gouges in it Probably from a dog my best guess

Would wet sanding help in reducing the appearance?

Thanks guys

Welcome to the forum! Nice looking Jeep! I did notice you called it a "truck" in your first post. Just to warn you, people go nuts if you refer to a Jeep in any non-specific Jeep terms. Using Jeep, Wrangler, JK, JKU, etc... are more accepted around here.

As for the turn signals, I have noticed on mine that they are a bit harder to activate when comparing to other vehicles. This may be due to the fact that Jeep tries to make these vehicles so they will hold up to the elements, such as getting that unexpected rain when the top is off. You may have noticed the doors are harder to close too. This is so that they seal better in the event that you happen to ford water that is above the bottom of the door seam. Do these things work perfectly? No. But they do help compared to other vehicles that are lesser prepared to face the stuff some of us Jeep people will tend to get into. Getting back to the turn signals, another nice feature is the 3 blinks when you press down partially (don't let it click) on the signal lever. This comes in handy for lane changes. Here in the states, mine was already setup that way. I'm not sure if they all come that way or not, but tuning modules such as the Procal can turn the "3 blink" feature on if need be.

As for the gouges you mention in the interior, I'm not so sure about wet sanding it. While I think you might be able to get rid of the gouge with enough sanding, I would be worried about it leaving visible marks from doing so. How bad are they, and where are they located? If they bother you that badly, I believe there are fillers on the market for situations like this, but I don't have any personal experience with them.

Again, nice Jeep and welcome to the forum.
