New Jeep lift and wheels

Hello please forgive me for being new to all this new jeep stuff. My family has always had jeeps and now I finally just bought my own. I bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler 2 door/4WD. Everything on it is still factory. My plans are to lift it and get new rims and tires. I think I wanna go with a 2.5'' suspension lift but I'm not sure what tire size I should get and/or what size rims I should get with it. If you have any inputs that would be awesome. Also if you have any inputs on what brands to go with for the tires, rims, and lift that would be great. Thanks for your help. Dustin

Hi Dustin, there are many threads here on the forum about each of the things you are looking to do. However if you don't want to read them just want one persons input then....

1. Lift the Jeep
2. Get 33x12.5R15 (Duractracs or KM2s)
3. Be happy for ever and get lots of girls to look at you while driving.

Carry on.

I agree. I'd suggest for a wheel you go with a 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing (that's what I have). Wheel diameter is strictly personal preference. I went with 17's.
