Do these JKs come with break-in oil? I thought all engines are broken-in at the factory these days.

Chrysler uses no special break in oil, they use assembly lube which protects the engine when it is fired up for the very first time. You can change it at 1000 miles and switch to synthetic oil if you desire. Just be sure to use a synthetic oil that meets the Chrysler spec.

I won't touch the change the FF early or leave it in argument. I've been down that road and would rather not go down it again. But if you want some interesting reading check out Used Oil Analysis for new engines, vs. broken in engines.

Ok, pumpkin. Your recent reply had absolutely no value to the discussion whatsoever. If you do not like my retorts to your snide remarks I suggest that you not make them in the future, at least not to me.

For the record, "my" oil thread was directed more towards curiosity on the "mystery break-in oil" rather than starting a debate on which oil is best. I know that's a loss cause, and that's why I will only run Liberty Gold Plus or Bullseye Automotive in my Jeep!
