New Jeep Owner

Hey guys how's it going? Got me a new 2010 wrangler a week ago and I love it. This is my first vehicle thats not a car, I've always been an avid sports car fan but have wanted a jeep for awhile. I love concept of taking top and door off and being free like that and then going off roading and such.

As a new owner I do have some questions. The other day I took it the "pit" Basically its a big area with trails, mud, hills, ect.. When I got back there, I put it in 4L and romped around in the mud, climbed some hills and such. It was a lot of fun. My biggest question is should I be using 4L for activities like that or use 4H? As far as speeds go, in this area I wouldn't be going more than like 15-20 mph. When I was in the muddy area I was just womping the gas pedal and sliding around in the mud, was fun.

Anyway, here's the new Jeep!

Looks good. 4L sounds fine for what you were doing. It should be used only for speeds under 25 MPH.

Use 4L when going up hills, in mud, or just general trailing. You have to learn to have a light foot when you're in 4L
Welcome to the addiction, looks like a great Jeep too!
