New Jeep upgrade

Hi all. Just purchased a new 2013 JK 2-dr with the 6sp and 3.73 with LSD. My soon to do upgrade will be the Old Man Emu 2" lift with the light springs as I will not add weight up front and want to retain the nice ride for DD use. I am going to upgrade the rubber to BFG AT radials and would like to use the 315-70-17's. I was told by the tire store they will fit the stock 17" alloy wheels, should i run spacers to prevent any contact? Will they even fit the stock wheel? How would the spare mount out back, do I need to mod the bracket to get it to fit?
Thanks for any help in advance, I'm sure this site will offer me much info and help in the future with my new ride.

You shouldn't have any issues. You will need spacers because of the factory backspacing.
At minimum $15 Daystar bumpstops for the spare. If you do plan on off road use, it's a good idea to reinforce the spare or a carrier.

With the above upgrades what kind of mpg loss would I expect, right now I'm getting around 20.5 mpg@ 70mph with the cruise on.

i did a 3.5" lift and 35's i went from an overall average of 17.5 to 16.1. So not a huge drop in mpg.

If you decide to go with the 315's please post back in a few weeks with your mileage reduction.

I'm going back and forth on a couple of wheel and tire combinations and yours is one that I am considering.

Congrats on the Jeep!
