New JK and have questions

Old Jeep owner with new Wrangler JK. Have several questions about the new JK's and their performance. Looking to do a 2" level- has anyone seen a loss of gas mileage after doing that? Putting 33 11.50 BF Goodrich All terrain tire.Installed a new Airaid air filter and I a considering an exhaust system upgrade such as a Catback however don't want to add exhaust noise much beyond stock- looking for some one that has done that - did you see any increase in power and mileage? At this time it is the family ride - eventually it will be all mine!
Anyone installed a MYGIG unit to get around the nav/dvd system???? Does it work as touted.

First up, welcome to the site.
Next up, please try a search- all of those questions have been answered at least a few times each- not being rude, just pointing out a fact.
To re-visit them:
You MAY see a slight loss in fuel economy from a mild lift. Most of that is found when you level out the front, as the factory rake (nose-down) helps reduce airflow under the vehicle, helping aerodynamics some.
If you're not looking to add exhaust noise, adding an aftermarket exhaust probably isn't the route to go- they all add at least a fair bit of noise. You can try going to a muffler shop and having them fabricate something. The end result with any of them is about jack- they reduce weight a bit, and the right muffler will help ground clearance at the rear (the OEM mufflers tend to be rock magnets for some people), but power wise, nada. Zip. Zero. It's all a perceived gain, none real that I've seen. Fuel economy is probably the same, although it may be worse for some who enjoy a more sporting sound, and tend to romp on it a bit more
As for Mygig, that is included in the OEM nav system, so I'm not sure what you mean there- Mark W.

sorry on the Mygig... it should have continued with lockpic- it is route around the in motion safeguard that will allow full use of NAV without being stopped.
any thoughts?

Gotcha- haven't done the Lockpick, so I'll leave that up to someone who knows.

On a side note, I just found myself laughing at an interesting contradiction- I find no problem modifying the engine, transmission, axles, the entire suspension, etc., but I'm loathe do think about doing the Lockpick to a $1000 nav unit- weird, na? Mark W.

LOL I hear ya... However it bugs the bejesus out of me to have to stop and park somewhere to search for something or have my wife access the nav unit while I am driving as it is safety guarded etc....

Just read about a Dynomax VT Muffler, allows free flow at wide open throttle, but cuts down on noise at cruising speed. Sounds great if it works, or could be a gimmick that will stop working after a few thousand miles.

Hmm...whats this lockpic im seeing? I've never had a nav system that doesnt allow you to use the majority of the features while moving...its annoying as hell right now! Most other ones ive had just make you click the "I agree" icon which the MyGig also makes you do but they have allowed me to access everything.

Im guessing its some kind of hack? Similar to maybe a phone hack like unlocking the iPhone for Tmobile etc? Anywhere I could find info on this?

BTW welcome to the forum & MyGig really is an awesome nav system (except for the locked features when in motion)
