Hey,
Looking for some advice from you JK guys. There might be multiple threads about this. I'm sorry for that, but this is personally about me and my questions for all you jeep owners and experts here to help me out.
I'm Absolutely new into Jeeps. I've been so drawn to them, and I'm at a point in my life where I can purchase a second vehicle. love driving down the road and looking at how you guys build your jeeps to your likings. As of now I'm in the market to purchase my first ever Jeep Wrangler. 2 Door, manual transmission of course.
What do i want to get out of my jeep and what do I attend to use it for? Well, I don't want to buy things twice and I also don't want to buy a specific jeep series like the Rubicon that has updated off roadfeatures/performance parts that i possibly might swap out to be replaced with aftermarket performance parts.
I want a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, 2 door, manual transmission, as for series of Jeep Wrangler and what I attended to do with the jeep, I'll need your help.
This is going to be my 2nd vehicle and for that I want to beef her up a little bit. I'll be using the jeep for off-roading fun with a little bit of daily driving. I'm in love with the 35" tires 16-17" rims with 4" suspension lift. As for gear ratio to turn these bigger tires I don't have a clue what would best fit my needs. 3.73, 4.10, 4.56 or 4.88. Is it pointless to buy 2015 Rubicon or do I build up a 2015 Sport instead? I don't see my self doing a ton of bigger rock crawling trails, more like dirt, mud/rocky trails but I also want to be able to get my jeep to reach areas other stock jeeps can't at the same time. So, yes it's for performance as well as my specific visual look that I want.
I want the option of having power windows and locks with the full metal doors, but I also intend to purchase separately, the half metal doors with manual locks for summertime days with roof down. Like i said, I know nothing about jeeps I don't want to sound like I do, but all I can say is what I attend on using the jeep for and what I want it to look like. that's why I'm here asking you guys. any help would be appreciated to push me in he right direction.
