how are you liking it so far? I know the ride is like a Cadillac compared to YJ's. those YJ's are hard on the back after awhile. if you wheel, the extra ground clearance and fitting 32's stock will be a welcome change.

get ready to get made fun of by your YJ buddies and TJ's dog ya pretty good too

Its all good, not to worried about what they think. The ride is a lot better, but it needs some suspension work to stiffin it up a bit. And a Lift is in order. I plan to throw some 33's on it and get a 2" lift. Speaking of which Does any one have a 2" lift with 33's so i can get a good idea of what its going to look like. I may want to go a little bigger.

Welcome to the other side of the forum.... You are going to love the JK. No input on any lifts yet, still stock in that area.

as you probably already know, a lift and bigger tires are gonna make your MPG disappear like water in the desert. Is this gonna be your daily driver too? Something to think about.

Yeah Im aware of the risks of larger tires. If I have to I will have it re-geared to get that back, but come on its a jeep It aint right to leave a jeep stock. It is a daily driver but not to the extent that any mods will be a problem. i wont be driving it on any road trips. But thank you your input it is appriciated.

How do those bushwackers hold up JIMBOX? Any cracks from bouncing?

NOPE no cracks, they're kinda rubber cushion mounted to the body, so there is some play and all the mounting bolts are fine threads

They also have the stock fender liners, attached to the inner fender, so they're pretty resilliant/solid !!

This one IS THE PROTOTYPE

Thenow have a full rack/w basket and windshield light bar--I think the cost is from $800 to $1300 bucks, which isn't that high for good jeep racks

It'll support over 700 lbs and also works as a roll bar/stabilizer for the hardtop

Quadratech, handles these racks for the US, checkemout

I got mine in Dec of '08, straight from Canada

If you go thru all the rigamarole on the website, you'll see that the rack bolts go thru the sides of the hardtop and ATTACH TO 4 SOLID legs that attach to the jeep tub!

The hard top only acts as a medium, to steady the rack--crazy
