New Member New JK8! A few Pics and Looking For Ideas For Upgrades

Mods if this is in the wrong place I'm sorry feel free to move..

Hi all! Joined up and hoping to get some ideas on upgrading my 12 JK8... It already has a solid base of wheels and tires (AEV's and Dick Cepek 33's) but I plan on doing bumpers (with a winch), fenders, suspension (I've been researching TeraFlex 2.5" and I'm thinking of spraying or wrapping it though the color is really growing on me (Dozer)...

I got rid of my Range Rover Sport Supercharged and I have to admit that I really like the JK8. Tons of fun and its like Legos for adults.

Any input is welcome as I have been a Rover guy for the last 16 years, but since the first time seeing a JK8 I had to have one.

Thank you! I'm really enjoying it so far... The snow came at a perfect time here in SE PA.

WOW! That is AWESOME looking! Those are the fenders I was looking at to add to mine. Quadratec is only 5 min from my office which could be a very bad thing...

That suspension looks great also! Do you do a 2.5" or just a 4"?

I might be in the minority here but with all that snow, you may want to consider a fuel door.

I'm also a big fan of tint but I live in the desert.

Nice setup!

Great idea on the fuel door and one I hadn't even considered. I was planing on tinting as I really like the orange on black look. Its not desperately needed here in PA, but its okay to do some things merely for cosmetics from time to time.

We offer a 2", 3" or a 4" systems for the JK platform. This one was our 4" Long Arm system if I remember correctly.

I really like the Bushwhacker flat fender flares, easy install (it is time consuming though). Just a heads up Quadratec does ( I think) a couple times a year a tent sale that has some SCREAMING deals!

Very cool! If I didn't need the 4 doors and backseat to haul the kids and if I didn't already have a truck for hauling I would definitely like to drive a JK8. Look forward to seeing your mods and to the mod addiction and forum.

What does snow have to do with a fuel door?

I just checked out your FB page and site. Had a hard time finding the price for the 3" package with shocks. I did the que on the left hand side... I book marked it and will figure it out. Very cool site.

I love that you blacked out the back of the cab! It makes it looks a lot closer to the proportions of a pickup being more towards the front than centered.

I bought my daughter a 2011 Sahara 2Dr for her birthday in March and we will use that if we need the extra room. If I hadn't already bought her the Sahara it wouldn't have been possible for me to get the JK8. I'm glad I got it for her early as I have been looking and lusting at the JK8's for a year and a half...

Thank you for the warm welcome.

I figured he was talking about possible condensation from the snow getting in the fuel but I dunno...

So we don't sell direct, so look to your favorite retailer for pricing.

Thanks! I am a tall/big dude and I was a bit worried about space when they were doing the conversion but there is pretty decent space in this set up.

The fuel door just helps keep all kinds of ice, road crap etc off the gas cap and makes it nicer to fuel in nasty conditions. I have em because the look great and may discourage one from looking underneath as I don't put a locking gas cap on my Jeeps. The other mod that is easy and I like a lot is the Mopar black tail light protectors.

How do those hold up considering they are held on by the light assembly itself? Or are they simply cosmetic?
