On April 9th Jeep Performance Parts announced new Beadlock wheels:
Beadlock Wheels:
Featuring the proper 12mm offset to accommodate 35-inch tires with a 2-inch lift, these black Jeep Performance Parts wheels with silver-painted forged beadlocks allows the installation of the tire in the normal bead seats, or install the outer bead in the lock seat.

Beadlock Wheel for Jeep Wrangler – Part No. 77072326AB: $325
Jeep Performance Parts: Toughen Up for the Trail

Beadlock's bring the ability to air way down... but are arguably not highway safe nor street legal. These look interesting, as the description says they can be mounted either way. So it brings flexibility (for mounting on either normal bead seat for the daily driver or outer lock for the pure offroad toy)... they also look nice... you can paint the beadlock for a color matched look... and they come with the confidence of coming from Jeep explicitly for the Wrangler (don't have to worry about backspacing, etc...)

But I can't find ANYTHING more about them... has anyone else??

I managed to find more information in the catalog, I'm a little surprised it's only 8.5" wide... that is minimum width for most 35" tires.
NEW BEADLOCK CAPABLE WHEEL
17" x 8.5" beadlock capable wheel provides a backspacing of 4.4" (12MM
offset). This will allow the use of a 35" x 12.5" x 17" tire with a 2" lift.
This wheel features dual bead seats. The outer bead of the tire can be
mounted in a DOT approved inner location or in the outer location as a
true beadlock. Beadlock wheels clamp the outer tire bead to the rim,
allowing you to run very low tire pressure for maximum traction and ride.
A trim ring is also available to replace the beadlock rim if you want the
looks without the actual beadlock feature. Rim is satin black with a silver
ring. This wheel features a protected valve stem design, black Jeep® logo
center cap and meets all FCA US LLC standards for corrosion and load.
This wheel has a 5"x 5" bolt pattern.
Beadlock Wheel – Jeep Wrangler #77072326AB . . . . . . . . . $325.00

Can anyone tell me a little more on the spec.'s (weight) of this wheel. I have done some searching but no luck. I really like the looks and think that I would like a set with red accent ring to up grade to 35's for the JKUR HR I have on order

Some beadlocks are street legal, others are not.

There are two types of beadlocks rims that I have seen.
Those that are DOT compliant
Those that are "Off Road Only", or "Race wheels".

In all my looking, the mfgs for these wheels are pretty straight forward about what they make.

So from my understanding, if it is DOT compliant, it is legal for use on the street. If it is "Off Road Only" or "Race Wheel", it is not.

A good example would be the Hutchinson Beadlock wheels that are DOT compliant, versus the Trail Ready Beadlock wheels, which are not. Both wheels are awesome, but only one is "legal for street use".

Here is a place to get them at $275. I have not ordered yet but was thinking of maybe trying to get my dealer to drop their price a bit then realized that since my dealer is an hour away it would be better to wait till I have the Jeep home and have someone over here mount the tires since then I won't have to deal with transporting the originals back home. I will report on the company once I order.

So here is a pic of one on my new 2015 Rubicon. Sorry it is not better but the file size limit is very small. They are awesome!!! Yes the mount 8.5" Regular and around 9" in Beadlock location. The Dolts do stick out but only about 1/4" from the ring. My tilre are about 1 1/2" past that. I did not have time to get them painted yet as I am going to Moab for a week long trip on the 24th. Plan to paint them body color when I get back.
