New product :thumb:

It was PA ARCTIC that mentioned this stuff in a post.
I am still a 303 fan for all my interior/top.
But for the bumpers/outside trim/tires

http://www.autopia-carcare.com/gel-trim-restorer.html

I ordered a bottle and sat in my jeep for a week. Sunday I gave her a wash and gave this crap a shot.

First thought "this stuff is way to thick"
And "going to take me 4 hours to apply it"

Definitely takes some muscle to apply it.
Found it someone easier if I dampened the
rag a bit.
4 hours later "wow looks fantastic"

It's now Tuesday and been raining off in on. I took a rag and wiped away the dust. The flares still look great. Lost a little bit of shimmer but still look coated.

I am now a fan of this stuff for my fenders. Sorry 303

Thanks PA ARCTIC for the recommendation

Ken

Love Chemical Guys products.... I'll give this one a shot when my 303 runs out. But I still love the 303 for vinyl...

I'll clean my fenders with gasoline and a blowtorch before I'll spend 4 freakin hours on em.

I know I am probably in the minority here, but I prefer the flat, no gloss look on the tires and fenders. I certainly would never put something like that on the interior trim especially. I already see too much of the dash in the window on a sunny day as it is. Maybe somebody just needs to better explain to me the reason to use these products?

Keeps the black plastics from fading. Left alone, the fenders will turn gray over time from sun, mud, etc.

Some don't mind; some do.

And I never said I applied on the interior

4 hours was a joke btw. Not as easy as the spray stuff. It did take more time

It's not really shiny at all. I little shimmer from the sun that's it

They may fade some, but JK trim won't tune gray like TJ trim. It's made from a UV resistant plastic. I've been using Turtle Wax Ice from the beginning and mine still look new. I love the TWI because it is simple and easy to use.

Angry Damn.........

Put 303 on my hardtop the day before leaving for the Beach! Let it set for an hour and "buffed" with a dry cotton towel!

Well it rained for the 1st 90-mi on the way down to the beach. My rear-window had a film on it after the rain stopped Pisses me off

Will try this new stufff now, and kich 303 to the street

303 is great for the soft top and interior. I wanted something that lasted a little longer on the outside trim.

one thing i wanted to add about the cg new look trim gel, is DONT glob it on! just 2-3 drops on a foam pad will do half the front bumper. it is unique. it will absorb into the trim. less is more here.

I've been using Eagle One Nanowax on the bumpers/fenders/soft top and paint after washing for years. It's super easy to apply, no streaks, no residue, use it on the vinyl windows for excellent protection. Honestly the best "spray every inch of the outside of the Jeep" product I've found. You can buy it at AutoZone or online.
