So over the past 3-4 months I have noticed a new rattle in my 2012 wrangler which is getting worse. I’ll be driving down a seemingly flat road, hit a seemingly small hole in the road and hear a hellacious rattle, which I can feel up the shifter and in the steering wheel. It’s not a light rattle, it feels like something heavy.
I am running 285/70/17 duratracs at 35(ish) pounds, with Spidertrax 1.5 inch spacers and a teraflex leveling kit. Per Spidertrax installation instructions I have pulled all four wheels to confirm that the spacers are torqued at 80lbs, and they were in fact nice and tight.
The only thing that is visibly off, is that the driver side rear of the jeep seems to sag slightly to the left. I can post pictures of this when I get home if it helps.
Any thoughts? It definitely feels like it is coming from the front end. Anything I should check that may have come loose wheelin’?
