LOL wow....act like decisions u guys make still are atleast still run by your wives and gf's.....ive been with my gf 9 years...we live together and are expecting our first in a few months....in the last 9 months ive purchased a new 2010 harley dyna street bob and a new 2011 wrangler with 600 bucks worth of rums in the first week of getting it. steping back and looking what all ive gotten , if she asks me to wait a lil bit then thats fine. Funny thing is outa the new pics of the rims ive gotten no thumbs up or down....just relationship advice........K
I know my girlfriend would be pissed if I pulled over a grand out of our shared bank accounts to buy some tires, meaning we wouldn't be able to pay rent or other shared bills/loans.
I would be pissed if she dropped a grand on shoes.
If she provides a fair chunk of the income, then she's got a fair say in what it gets spent on, no?
If I had been seeing her for a few months then all bets are off - 90% of my income would probably go to the Jeep. But now I value my ability to have children too much to go on a wild spending spree!
Also, congrats on the rims (and the upcoming baby)
Wheels look great! Congrats on the baby, Keep the girl, she'll let you get the tires when other responsibilities are settled! I installed the 1 3/4 Leveling Lift yesterday, wife saw it, said... "thought you were gonna put a lift kit in"...? ..."Why didn't you go bigger"...? Love my wife!
LOL yea....my gf might have asked me to hold off a bit on tires but was nice enough to start power shoping them from tirerack, sears, discount, suntire and firestone....texting me deals and such lol.....she cant fool me,she likes driveing it with the top down almost as much as i do,and would like better/bigger tires.
Looks nice! I don't like white jeeps, but I'm not saying yours looks bad or anything, is just my color opinion. Regardless of that, the rims look great, silver goes great with white, gray or black. Once you get some tires and a lift it will look so much better!!! Get some 33s if you want to still save some money on the gas pump, go with 35s if you don't care about mpg. A 2.5" lift is good for either choice. I have the teraflex 2.5" lift kit with springs and no shocks. Feels almost like stock at a decent price. If you do get 35s, I have read that is a good idea to regear, you'll have to check on this yourself.
