New Rubicon Owners.

Just went in to take a look to see if my wife liked a Jeep.
Test drive and a few hours later, traded her BMW 325xi wagon and went home to very happy kids.

2010 Rubicon Unlimited
Manual
Nav, Uconnect
Hardtop only, so far.

At first I thought it had half doors, but if you look closely they are full doors. He just has the windows down. Not as obvious since the Jeep is dark.

We took the hard top off the next day, weather has been great here.
looking on Craigslist for a soft top now.
Built a hoist in the garage to take the hard top off easily, now a simple one person job.

Congrats. Great choice getting the 4dr with kids. Not your typical mini van.

Minivan was and will NEVER be an option.
I can carry 8 and gear in my 7.3 Diesel Excursion, which is needed for our Airstream.

Try just a bikini top. Only $100.00 or there about and I used to go down into the 40's, hi 30's with the right coat. It's less hassle and with the heater blasting its not too bad. The bonus is that if that works for you and your climate, its only a hundred bucks. Just an idea.

Congrats on your new rig.
