New Sport 2 DR

Thanks for all your help. Purchased 2012 Sport 2 DR - deep cherry red, hard top with deep tint sunscreen windows, power convenience, connectivity group, automatic, and side steps. Really like the cherry red with black fenders and top. Used Tread Lightly discount (again thanks for advice). Drove it 40 miles so far. Looking forward to taking the top off this summer and driving in the snow next winter. What other vehicle will give you year round fun! Looking to add hitch and soft top. Leaning towards Bestop Supertop NX. So far 4wheelonline has best price? Ordered the Racor PHL-1R Pro HeavyLift from amazon to store the hard top. Again thanks for all the info and will keep following the forum for new ideas.

One minor question, bought the connectivity group mainly for the bluetooth phone which I have setup for both my phone and my wifes phone. I have it on my chevy and really liked it. My chevy has a bluetooth icon that comes on to tell you that the phone is paired. I did not see this on the jeep. The only way to know if it connects is to push the phone button? Am I missing something?

There should be a battery icon in the lower left corner of your sat/nav unit (I'm going by my 430N, so...) that keeps track of the charge left in your phone.

When your phone is paired via Bluetooth, you will see the Bluetooth icon and the battery level icon along with signal strength for the phone--all in the lower left hand corner--at least this is the case withe 730N. Not sure if this is the case with the 130N.

Congrats on your new ride! Similar to mine which I picked up 10 days ago. I plan on the Bestop Trektop NX when the summer comes. The Cherry Red is great, esp in different light. Enjoy!

Congrats. Nice color that's what I was trying to get.

I have the radio (single CD/Satellite radio) and it only shows that it's connected when I'm actually on a call. It shows the battery level and the caller ID.

On my 09 with the Nav it showed it all the time.

That is what mine seems to do. Only shows if the phone is active. Thanks for the info. I should have posted that I have the Media Center 130 with Satellite.

Has anyone bought soft tops through 4wheelonline? Their price right now is lower than others I have looked

You have the Sport (as I do) so you can't get the 430 or the 730, the sport only comes with the 130 Media center. It will show up on the screen when there's an incomming call, but I haven't noticed anything telling me I'm paired. Other than that we have better luck with the uconnect in the Sport than we do with it in our Chrysler 200 with the 730N.
