New to Jeep owner

Hey everyone I am a first time Jeep owner. We just purchased a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4x4 6-speed manual about two weeks ago. Unfortunately I have been have problems with all the dash lights coming on and going off, then my engine would shut off and turn back on while I was driving! I took it in and they said it was the brake pedal switch. They changed it out and now the engine light and seatbelt light having been coming on and shutting off while I am driving. I saw a video on youtube of someone having a similar problem, so I thought I would ask around if anyone had the same problem and if you were able to fix it please let me know. And hi again everyone lol

Sounds like an issue with the TIPM.

I would take it to the dealer ASAP, my jeep is a 11 and was stalling. I just got it back after two days and they changed the control moduler. I also had a L35 reprogram recall. The people hear had me beleave that my jeep was going to hydrolock.

diamondfireu: In case you didn't know (I didn't), the TIPM is the Totally Integrated Power Module. It's under the hood; looks kinda like a fuse box. It deals with power distribution between various components in the JK electrical system.

Good luck.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I took it in and it was a recalled oxygen sensor at first they said it was the brake pedal switch being stuck but that didn't fix the problem. So it's all good now!
