New to offroading

I have a 2009 Jeep wrangler X. I don't really wheel much but I'm getting more into it. Honestly I'm a rube when it comes to cars so I don't know what all I should do to upgrade my Jeep to handle trails and whatnot. So far I've put 35" KM2's on with a 2" pro comp lift. I have a front arb bumper, and I have Dana44 5.13 gears in my rear differential and Dana30 5.13 in the front.

I mostly mud, but I've started to do some amateur rock crawling and trail driving.

I'm just looking for some tips to get off in the right direction with my off roading. Specifically I'm wondering what I should to to my engine, transmission, drivetrain, etc. I'm not really worried about body work and I already know most about that.

Anything helps. Thanks

Your Jeep stock would have been more than capable to help you learn and gain experience offroading. Since you have taken the plunge with a lift, gears, tires, etc you will definitely have a great rig to go and try things with. My advice is just get out there and let the trails teach you along with friends. You will know what if any, more you need for your rig. It sounds good, post some pics up -
