These are the exact wheels I had mounted Tuesday on my black Sport JK. I have the stock tires for now and it looks like a different Jeep. The wheels are kicked out just enough to give it a more agressive stance....I like my Jeep even more now.You can't beat Summit Racing prices on steel wheels....but remember steel wheels are heavier than stock and take more weight to balance out!

@SLICE55 - have you noticed any change in how your jeep rides since you mention weight? Also - does that mean they're dripping with weights?? Do you have any pics? Last - how did summit send them to you? I still can't wrap my mind around getting 5 rims from UPS!! Oh - and of course they fit over the breaks w/o issue right? And the tire carrier on the back - no problems, yeah? THANKS!! PICS PLEASE!!!

I really can't tell any difference in the ride, as they are not THAT much heavier.I really don't post pics on here...but the Jeep looks awesome. I have heard stories about UPS, but have never had a problem here. All 5 wheels came UPS unscathed, very well boxed and were delivered in 3 days. I have no complaints at all....just can't wait till spring to get my 33's. The local dealer where I bought the jeep mounted and balanced all 5 for $90....and they are not dripping with weight...just takes a little more weight to balance steelies then it does for alloy wheels.Having the 4.5" backspace on the wheels makes it feel more surefooted...kinda sticks to the road better,it all good.btw..the bump stops behind the rear tire carrier do not touch the tire now,but I will address that soon!

MOPAR Winter/Off-Road 17" Steelies

I bought a set of MOPAR steel utility rims part #52124455-AB for $99.50 each from a dealer, buffed them with steel wool and sprayed them flat. Scraped up 5 TPMS sensors off of eBay for $100 part #56029479AB. Bought the lugs from a golf cart supply house for $17. The same that fit on a Club Car. I also ordered a set of chrome center caps for a Club Car for $22 although never installed them, the center holes are 2 13/16" I believe and very hard to find caps for. The 2011 Wrangler brochure shows the steel rims with a center cap but the dealer could not locate.

I'm trying to get in contact with "2012Gecko". I want to know what her back spacing is on those 17x9 Ion Alloy rims and if she used spacers with them. I ask because 5" of BS will rub without spacers.
