new wrangler owner

I am new to the form and trying to gather some info. My parents just got me a 2009 2dr wrangler sahara. Generally how much would a shop charge for a 3 inch lift and how would this effect insurance. Thank you for your answers I know you get this question alot.

Figure around $100.00 plus per hour. Didn't effect my insurance rates at all cause I didn't tell em. Oh and Welcome to WF.

i'd be more worried about the warranty than the insurance.

Lifting it may affect your warranty, unless you have a mod friendly dealer. If you get a Mopar lift and have your dealer install it, it shouldn't be much of a problem. Ask the dealer first....

Welcome to the forum.. Congrats on the Jeep. Infernogirl is right. I asked my dealer and he said that the warranty is voided if I go above 2inches. Secondly, they will not warranty the aftermarket lift kit they sell. Only the labour. The supplier warranty is only which will be supplied with the lift kit.
