Personally I could dig the truck spin-off. However I would prefer something closer to this year's Red Rock Responder concept than 2005's Gladiator. To me, I'd rather have extra space in the back cabin for the kids by keeping the JKU's 4 doors and a short (6'?) bed than a jeep pickup with an 8' bed and a tiny ford rangerish back seat.
Chrysler eliminated the Comanche line of trucks because of poor Dakota sales. Now that they have eliminated the Dakota line because they can sell their 1/2 tons cheaper, I've been waiting for them to reintroduce a Jeep truck line. The Jeep is an upsell anyway and hopefully I can park one in my driveway and keep my 88 Pioneer stock. That said, I'll believe it when I can find one on a dealers lot.
