So...super excited about today's UPS delivery. I now have in my possession...and soon to be on my 2015 JKU, one of only three YETI JK Heavy Duty Draglinks with a built-in Griffin steering attenuator that exist in the world. Of the other two...one is on the inventor's Jeep (Ron North from Steer Smarts), and the other is with someone else also for testing and review.

I'm getting this thing installed on Saturday and will bring more photos and eventually a video. Normally I would do the install myself, but I went with the high steer version, so I need to have a new tracbar bracket welded on...so it's going to a local shop for that work. One thing I can't do... weld. ;-)

You may already be familiar with the Griffin Steering Attenuator and the YETI Heavy Duty Draglink, but this is the first time that the YETI was available with an attenuator.

Here's a few quick photos!

Here is the YETI Draglink and the YETI Tie Rod

Here's a better look at that HUGE attenuator! It's a beast...and probably wasy 10-15 pounds just by itself!

More to come for sure. I'm not sure when it will be available for sale, but I don't imagine it will be too long. Hurry up, Saturday!!!!

Looks great!! Love my Yeti Tie Rod and Drag Link setup!! Just a heads up for guys with Rubicons and metal front skid plates. I had to trim about 1" off the back of my front skid plate so the Drag Link bolts would clear the factory Rubicon Hard Rock skid plate. I'm sure with Drag Link with the built-in Griffen steering attenuator the same would need to be done, you would probably want to trim off atleast 1" by the looks of how thick the Griffen steering attenuator is so it will clear with a factory front metal skid. Super simple to do with a $20 harbor freight cutting wheel/grinder.

Ok guys, you know I'm retired now and on a fixed income. But you keep coming out with parts I want to buy. Enough already.

PS: Another home run Compliant

Thanks CPO for taking your time to write do this write up.
Will my JKRU with stock suspension benefit from this Yeti draglink with attenuator ?
I'm not planning on lifting it and the only changes I made is swapping out the stock wheels and tires with 17X9 wheels and 285 70/17 Duratrac which added about 10 pounds to each corner.
I would like to improve the steering over the rough road and the constant corrections during highway driving.
Thanks.

Originally I was going to say that if you aren't lifted and only lightly off-road, then the full YETI system might be a little overkill for you -and that you will find most noticeable benefit from just the Steer Smarts Griffin. I still think that to be the case, however, I can't help but think there will be some value in the anti-flop engineering built into the YETI tie rod, particularly if you find yourself on washboard or bumpy roads often. But with a mostly stock setup, I think you'll find the most bang for the buck in the Griffin for your stock drag link. You will notice a difference. Someone else please chime in if I am missing something.

14Trailcrawler; We manufacture our own linkage except for the molded rubber parts and we had a bellows supplier let us down and had to resource to another supplier. Deliver time for the new supplier is 12 weeks so we're looking at August time frame. We are going to offer two different bellow colors, black or red. I will have pictures and prices on our website in two weeks.

Look us up at Bantam Jeep Festival June 10 / 12. We will have a griffin installed on one of our Jeeps and one on display in our booth.
