My advice as with many is to simply take the top off completely when door less. Being careful about your rear window should also be considered if your driving around with the freedom panels removed and the doors are still on. Either way watch your speed and avoid the interstate when riding without the panels or doors and the hard top is still on.
I thought there was venting in the rear gate that was supposed to prevent any excess pressure? Thought I had read without it those with soft tops would end up with a parachute in back basically.

That's good information to know whether you have a hard top or soft. Does it matter which tranny you have?

Not everything can be corrected. Some things are what they are, no matter how much you try to change them.

Just a pinprick in the fabric of the space-time continuum. No need to worry.

Ok forgive the following dumb question. Its been bugging me and i dont want to look dumb. I have yet to go doorless, but when I do, do I also have to remove the door surrounds? Are they a pain to remove?

You don't have to, but they're easy to remove and it looks better.
