Thanks. Not to shabby yourself. Before either of us feel special though we must remember that all Jeeps are awsome.

I bought a Kenwood head unit, replaced all 4 speakers with marine grade polk audio speakers and replaced the sound bar speakers with 6.5". I also added a 5 channel amp to power the speakers and 2 12" kicker subs. This all combined to a much louder and better sounding sound system with the top down.

Haha I went all in but for cheap you definitely should upgrade the speakers as well as polly fill the sound pods

I mean, I'm going to spend a few hundred, it's not cheap cheap, but still a LOT better than stock. listened to a bunch of different ones. just don't want subs and amps, too much equipment in the jeep I want to keep as bare as I can.

I gotta jump in here - first time topless with mine last week. I was smiling the whole time, but the best part was my 13 YO son. He was the coolest kid in the world everytime he rode in it. Had the right tunes playing, and you could actually see his chest swell up. Great times! He is going to want one in a few years....

I have had my regrets with the amp because I did have to sacrafise being able to carry anything larger than what I can fit on the back seat

No pics yet, but I finished my stereo install this week. Swapped out the factory HU for a JVC with BT, put in Pioneer 4x6's in the dash, 5 1/4" Pioneers in the sound bar, and after 3 weeks with that system balanced it out with an 8" Sound Ordnance low-profile sub with amp. The difference in sound is AMAZING! Now I'm just waiting on this German weather to warm up so I can take off the top and doors!

Yup. I had about 7 years between the Jeep I have now and my last one when I was stationed in Georgia. Can't wait to drive around here and get beat up by the wind and noise!

Yeah, took the Jeep topless to pick my daughter up at a school event. When I pulled up she rolled her eyes. By the time we had her gear loaded up and she listened to all the boys jeering, she had a grin on her face.

Next day she asked, "Can I take the Jeep to school?"

My response, "NO! When girls drive Jeeps, jeeps become boy magnets."

She just grinned and walked away.
