Newb move of the week.

Ok I don't like to admit when I've done something stupid.....but, its not a big deal but could have been. About 8 months ago I put these fancy aluminum stem caps on my wheels, well when I tried to take them of yesterday they were stuck. It took 2 plyers a couple busted knuckles and 15min To get 2 caps off. I guess there was a dissimilar metal issue cause they were just about fused together. Moral of the story.....stick with the plastic ones.

yes, you have to pay attention when two different metals come in contact with each other. Boat owners can tell you some real horror stories about this.

I had a 36' sailboat once. different metals between the chain and the clasp on my mooring in a quiet lagoon near the equator eroded each other until an angry wind from the wrong direction broke it free and tossed it up on the rocks for me. Was not a pleasant (or cheap) experience.
