Are you worried about someone getting into the Jeep, or someone stealing the Jeep? Don't leave anything of value in it. Some folks install a kill switch to deter theft of the vehicle.

Nobody pays attention to alarms anyway.... Like inferno said, leave nothing of value in it... You may want to look into a locking compartment if you need to keep someting safe.... if you do an alarm do one with a paging system so if it does go off you can get to your jeep and beat them to a bloody pulp.

Just a ? on the stock alarm system. If you take the top & doors off and hit the lock button on the key, does the alarm activate and only go off if you open the back tailgate?
