Newbie help 2011 lift

I just got a new to me 2011 wrangler sport 2 door. (My mid life crisis). Mostly a daily driver with some weekend offroading. I need help deciding on a lift. I want to run 33s and am thinking of a Teraflex 2.5 spring lift. I see that most with this are running 35s will33s look too small? Also, would it benefit me to get the lift kit with shocks? By the way I love my new toy and the family does as well.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can run 33's without a lift but TF's 2.5 and 33's will be fine.

I honesty did not care for TF's shocks. Rancho until the end of June if offering a $100 rebate on their shocks.
Check out the adjustable 9000's or the new 7000 monotube shocks.

I ran 33's with a 1.75" Daystar BB and had rub in very minimal off road situations. Now with a 3 inch lift, no rub under any circumstances. You'll have definite rub running 33's on the stock setup. The 2.5 TF lift should take that away.

@ponce, if ur conscientious about your mpg, go 33. since you have a 2011, there will be a huge difference in power loss if you upgrade to 35's.

there are more factors than just the "looks"

I went 33's with my OME 2" lift (more like 2.5 to 2.75")

I think it looks good, but 35's would look better IMO.

I didn't want to have to re-gear just yet. Going from the stock 32s to 33s was noticeable with my mighty 3.8L.

You can check out my lift in my avatar picture.

Thanks for the info. Would a TF 2.5 spring lift and Rancho 9000s be a good mix and match. I still plan on running 33s so I don't want to get too tall. In the future I plan on adding front and rear bumpers with a winch and tire carrier.
