Newbie wheel set-up question?

Hi everyone, I am a newbie to the site and I have a question in regards to the wheel set-up that I am looking to put on my 2008 JKU Sahara. I am looking at KMC XD Misfit rim 17x9 with 5" of back space 0" offset, with Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/70/17 about 33.5 size tire...Will they rub? I dont want wheel spacers! Should I be looking at another rim perhaps with less back spacing and offset? Thanks for the help, my Jeep is my daily driver so I want to get this right.....

My SIL has 18" Eagle wheels with 5"BS running 305/60 with no rubbing. You should be OK with that set-up.

I've been doing my homework on the same subject by comparing my stock setup on a tire calculator and offset calculator. Then measuring on my jeep to get a ballpark idea. Trial fit/test is the obvious sure way. I'll do some trimming on the inside, but don't want to screw with the stock flares and make her handle squirelly and have the tires stick out too much. Good luck it looks like you can put quite of bit of rubber under them.

I have DC Torque wheels with 5" bs and 285/70/17 with no rubbing, the Duratracs measure out at 10.75" wide at 30 psi. I think 12.5" wide tires might lead to some rubbing but we will never run that wide of a tire on the wife's Jeep. When I get mine that will be a different story
