NJ Temp Plate

Hey everyone,

Picked up my new Jeep yesterday, and after one day the temp tag already has a big rip on the left side. It doesn't look like it would make it another day. I know that NJ has those eTemp tags that have to be mounted to the rear license plate holder; mine won't survive another day mounted there, so I mounted it to the rear window hoping that would suffice. Do you think that is okay or might I get pulled over for it not being installed in the right place?

Thanks everyone,

John

It shouldn't be a problem as long as it can be read.

Soft top? I drove my new Jeep around Philly and S Jersey with temp tag in car. No way to keep it on. No problem for 2 months. Kept it cab

You won't have to wait long. NJ is generally pretty good at getting new printed plates out.

right now I have the hard top on so it's the tinted back window. I'm sure it's gonna be fine I figured I'd just double check. Thanks for the replies!

PA the same way. The temp is suppose to be in the plate holder, but can't handle being exposed to weather.

Just went thru this, and at the office, the woman told us to just tape it in the rear window, and even gave us some tape to do so.
