No name budget boost help.

Hey WF,

I got this 2011 2 Door JK a couple weeks ago so I am new to the whole Jeep scene. I told my mom, without really doing my research that I wanted a budget boost (for christmas) because it is... well budget oriented.

She ordered this " 3" suspension lift" from

3" Comfort Ride Suspension with Shocks for 07-12 Wrangler

and I would be willing to return it if it will really limit me to what I can do offroad compared to a typical teraflex 3" lift which is my next choice.

I want to be able to run 35's one day but not until my 33's go bald. I would like to be able some decent trails but nothing to the point where I am snapping shit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It isn't no name, it is Daystar. They are a popular accessories manufacturer. That said I wouldn't run their suspension or a 3" spacer lift. At 3" you may want things like LCA's, front sway bar disconnects and an adjustable front trackbar.

Even on that TF 2.5" think about adding the disconnects and the front trackbar. Other than that, should be good to go.

My money would go here though Rock Krawler Suspension, Inc.. Comes with front trackbar, rear track bar tower and the disconnects. Throw in some decent shocks and you are good to go.

Hit up a vendor on the forum. They can usually hook you up.

Yea... That's pricey for a Bb.

More comparable in price but a better choice would be the Tf lift you linked but w/o shocks.

I have a Daystar 1.75" spacer lift. Daystar is a made in the USA (at least my spacers were), name brand. They don't have the brand recognition of Teraflex, but they're fine.

That said, I would probably swap it out if you can. I don't think scorpion shocks are well thought of. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
