If you plan on wheeling stay away from the stock plastic side steps and go with a nice set of rock rails. Congratulations and welcome to WF!

Congrats. Check ACE engineering sliders. They will work as a step and have a lifetime trail damage replacement.

Right in the owner's manual they advise you to remove them for off road.

Take this advice early. It's a better plan than paying for side steps, breaking them off road, them ultimately buying rock rails.

The rock rails from MOPAR are about the same cost as the side steps anyway, if you bought new. I'd imagine there is better products aftermarket, but just as an FYI.

I'm a new Jeeper myself, make sure to wave!

They have side armor at fortec4x4.com .I wanted side step before I even got my jeep. Was looking about & what not. The thing I hate about the regular ones. Are that a lot of people have them, just boring. And the look is boring. But just like Badpunkin shows in his pick, those side armor is what I'm after. Just as soon as I get mi babi back & enough money saved!
