Noob roll bar question

Hey all-

Ok, so this is really humiliating to ask, but hey, I don't know any of you!

I have seen Jeeps with a 90 degree angle roll bar at the back end, and I have seen them with almost a 60 degree angle.

Is it determined by the model and year? Is the 60 an aftermarket bar?

I should have better things to do.......

What you are seeing is not a roll bar. It is just the soft top frame. The OEM soft top is square at the back, Some Aftermarket tops have the "Fastback" look.

No, that one is too stark. What I meant was what I think the #2 post refers to: a fastback type. I like that look, and would like to be able to source it but do not know what it is called. This is what it looks like (the green 2 door, post #9: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/tak...ff-275161.html

I believe you're referring to the difference between the 2-Door and Unlimited. The 2-Doors all have the "90 degree" roll bars and the Unlimited all have the "60 degree" bar that you refer to. This is simply how they are designed and built.

I thought that I had seen it on a JK, as well. I am going back and forth on ordering a 2 or 4 door half-door. That one item may be the clincher!

Thanks
