Took the fron panels off to go for a ride and guess what. Didnt even make it to the end of the driveway B4 it started to rain. Had to turn around at slap them back on. Guess I'll try again later.

Did the same thing this a.m. except I didn't make it out of the garage. Threw the Bikini* on and cruised to work.
* - yes Geoff...that is Bikini as in Bestop Bikini.

Supposed to be gorgeous the rest of the week though!

I had a sad day, had to put the doors back on and soft top up as I needed the Jeep to get me to work. Would have left it all off but I have to park in one of the dodgiest train carparks around.
On another note, I took the doors off for the first time two weeks ago. I was amazed at how easy it was! 10 minutes and both were off, and most of that time was undoing the torx screws.

Hehe... I had the Jeep completely naked over the weekend while I was cleaning it; first time I've really gotten into all of the nooks and crannies. Anyways, just as I was about done, it started to rain (yes, I checked the weather forecast first )!

I grabbed my keys and pulled it into the garage just in time for the rain to stop

I believe I see a cause and effect relationship between your actions with the top and the rain. I have found that washing a vehicle also can have an effect on precip.

I work with a bunch of guys that ride Harleys. If one particular guy wipes his down after getting to work, it rains. Every time.
