Not starting after driven a distance 2007 wrangler 4 door

Problems with starting the vehicle after driven a long distance. And it's random. I have replaced the battery and starter recently. So I know that's not the problem. When I turn the key it seems like it engages and all lights, radio and electrical things work fine. It's almost like there is not a signal being sent to the starter to start. There have been a few times where I have been able to jump the battery and it starts right up. I guess my question is, does it sound like it could be the starter relay? I'm not even sure what else to consider at this point aside from maybe the ignition switch. It only happens when the jeep has been driven for at least a couple of hours straight and it seems to be hot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not 100% on the 3.8 V6s but definitely check/replace the relays/fuses I would do that long before replacing batteries and starters, it's a lot cheaper and if it ends up being something else, at least you end up with spares and didn't spend nearly as much time.

Another really critical thing to check is any corrosion on the wires/connectors going to the battery, sometimes the connectors are good but the wiring is so corroded that it just can't supply the current as well.
