Now I have to find a top

Well, I decided not to get the soft top with my new jeep, now I need to find some kind of bikini top for the longer trips to keep the sun from frying me.

Because there is so much knowledge on here, it was a no brainer...Ask the WF peeps which is the best to buy....

So, what ya think? 4door JKU Sahara

How does the weather effect the roll bar padding? For some reason I think it would effect them...maybe I'm just weird.....or both...

Tim makes a fastback-style top, too. Rocks.

If you don't have great patience, don't order from him. Plus, right now's his busy season. I ordered mine in November and got it @ the start of Feb.

I have an older model and when it rained the roll bar abosorbed the water and leaked in the rear storage compartment. Tim has since redesigned the back piece and havent had any complaints since. He's easy to work with, just need to exercise a lot of patience with him. He's a one man operation

DD, nice jeep! I cant really see the top, but I enjoyed the photo!

KB, I am really just looking for the part that goes over the top and not the back, but at least I got another photo of your jeep out of it haha.

If you want something solid, then this is probably NOT what you're looking for. However, this will keep the sun from frying you, while still giving you the "topless experience."

I'd be rocking one of these if I didn't have my ORH top.

Wrangler Accessories, Jeep Top, Wrangler Top

Hummm, I actually think I like the spider thing that just goes over the front seats! Heck for 60 bucks, it would at least be worth a try I think!

From what I've read here and on other Jeep forums, most people that have em, love em.

Plus, iirc, you can put the soft top on over it if you undo the spiderballs (or whatever they're called) on the front.

Nah. I'm good. I was laying on the ground w/a 300mm lens when I took that photo.

I HAVE considered buying a 2-door, though. Like dogs, it's better when you have two, so they can keep each other company when you're not home. Probably not till next year, though. If that happens, who knows...?

You can also look into the Dirty Dog shades. I've always liked the way they fit up snug to the rollbar better than the Spidershade.

However, I have no first hand experience with either. I use a custom top that I absolutely love. The pics below aren't my Jeep, but it is the top I have. Right now, I only have the front portion. Planning to pick up the rear portion this spring, if the guy is still making them.

That is EXACTLY what I want (in the photos)!

Custom...Damn. I think I am going to have to find someone to make me one like that now!
