O2 Sensor Bypass?

How difficult is it to bypass the O2 sensor on the exhaust system?

has to be done by accessing the cars chip and erasing the CEL.

Nope, not going to let go of the opportunity to learn something here. Let's just say--hypothetically of course--that somebody did bypass this sensor by whatever means are necessary. What does this accomplish?

he is probably wanting a cat less dp so exhaust sounds better. stinks like hell though and in some cases with ecu flash you'll get some hp/torque

You can use an O2 simulator to replace your existing sensors. You will need to have the ability to modify your fuel tables though. Ideally you will want to do a dyno tune to optimize the set up.
