Off Road Hero Fastback Top - Rear Flapping

All:

Just got my new top installed. Love it but it's my first soft top and the flapping at highway speeds in the rear is driving me crazy. Not constant but fairly regular.... Is this normal? At highway speeds, the rear sides flap a bit even with everything as tight as I can get. Any solutions?

I'll contact Tim but thought I would check this group first. Please, no bashing of the seller/product.....

Thx.

I have the top and no flapping was observed, but the back window does "pulse" a bit. Are you sure you curled the back plastic piece up and over correctly in the rear? I do remember initially the rear being VERY VERY tight to get curled under. Essentially the black plastic piece should be facing you on the black bar under the cloth material.

Thanks for the reply. Are you talking the rear window or the 2 rear quarter pieces that wrap around the back corners? The flapping is on the rear quarter pieces against the side of the jeep. I do get the "pulsing" you describe. I did curl the rear pieces around the bar that you install in the sides. It's very tight as you wrap the rear pieces around the corner of the jeep as well. The challenge is in the middle of the rear quarter pieces. In the middle the don't fit snug into the channel of the jeep. Almost like it has a bit to much material in that section.

Tough to explain but any help appreciated. I'll take a video, maybe that will help.

Thanks!
